Meet Our Winemaker,
Raphaël Brisbois

Raphaël Brisbois brings more than three decades of expertise in winemaking to the growing, blending, and bottling of our Fava Brothers Zinfandel Wine.

Born and raised in France, Raphaël received a Masters in Viticulture and Enology from Ecole Nationale Superieure d’Agronomie in Montpellier. From there, he became a winemaker at a Henri Maire and then at the Champagne house of Piper-Heidsieck. He ran the vineyards and winery operations for Champagne India in East Bombay before joining Iron Horse Vineyards in California, where he was in charge of the sparkling wine production.

In 1995, he began a winemaking consultancy, and today he’s a partner in Gary Raphaël Vintners LLC. His magic touch benefits not only Marcucci Farms, but also other winemaking in Calfornia, Canada, Chile, and France. Raphaël and his wife, Sylvie, reside with their family in California.
